CTT Bolted Steel Tanks
|
Columbian TecTank tanks and silos are coated through an advanced, environmentally-controlled process at our ISO certified plants. This
ensures the highest quality application, best adhesion and longest coating life. This exclusive coating process is achieved with a state-of-the-art
continuous tunnel design, beginning with surface preparation followed by the coating application, and final thermal curing at baking temperatures up
to 400 degrees. Our coating systems provide the ultimate in performance and protection.
| Factor | Columbian TecTank | Competitor |
| Coating | Touch Up Capable | No Touch Up - Must Rely On Unsightly Black Mastic |
| Weather | No Effect | No Effect |
| Price | Economical | Higher - 20% or More |
| Coating | Won't Fracture | Brittleness Leads to Many Fractures. Provides Pathways for Water to Bare Steel. Leads to Corrosion Under Steel Which is NOT Repariable |
| Flanges | Coated Same as Tank | HDG Only - The Weak Link in the Chain |
| Foundation Costs | Minimal | Usually Have an Expensive Poured Concrete Slab |
| Gasketing | Selected to Suit Each Specific Project | Do NOT Use Gaskets |
| Flexibility | Easy to Add Features Such as Weir Troughs and Nozzles | Very Difficult to Add Items to the Tank |
| OVerall Quality | Build in at Fatory. Nozzles etc. Located in Factory | Nozzles Must be Cut into the Tank in the Field |

Trico Bond EP
|
Trico-Bond EP is a highly engineered thermosetting modified epoxy powder with over five years of extensive testing in the most severe
chemical environments. Trico-Bond EP is used as an interior liner and an exterior primer.
Trico-Bond EP is applied under factory conditions allowing a controlled blast profile, consistent environmental factors and thermal curing.
Trico-Bond EP meets FDA requirements for food contact surfaces and is NSF-61 approved.
Trico-Bond EP combines with our Performance Urethane and Clear Urethane exterior top-coats to provide the highest quality, lowest
maintenance coating system in the industry.
